So when I say I've lost the plot, what I'm referring to is the fact that the way that my coaching programs are structured, both the self-paced Superstar Assistant Academy program and also the group coaching superstar accelerator, I still love these programs. But what I don't love anymore is the way that I have them set up as a business. And the reason that I don't like the way that they are set up and operating anymore is because when I first created this program for a little over four years ago, my main focus, my main goal, my whole driver, right? The reason for creating this was to serve women and moms, share with them the life hack that I have found in virtual assistance and help them streamline the process, right? Make sure that they don't have to go through all the trials and the failures and the figuring things out and the questioning yourself. I wanted women to just have a roadmap because as moms, we're so damn busy and we don't have the time to be guessing. And something that I have said for years and that I have prided myself on. It's a a core piece of the foundation of my coaching business is that even though my program is self-paced, you are never alone in it. And I actually designed it as self-paced very intentionally, because of the fact that the women I serve are moms and they're attracted to virtual assistants because of how flexible it is. And so I wanted the program teaching them how to create their own income and build their own business as a VA to also be flexible. So that was a very intentional choice. But I also made a very intentional choice to acknowledge, write down the name of every single woman who joined the program and still be connected to each and every one of them, despite the self-paced format of the program.

And the way that I feel, I've lost the plot. And honestly, I've lost a little bit of my spark and my joy in coaching because I've lost the plot, and because I kind of took this detour over the last year or so, is that I changed how the program was structured and how it was presented and the way that it operated and ended up turning it into a structure that is much more suited for like business coaching. And I think in hindsight, looking back, I slipped into that because of the mentorship that I was in with a business coach. And the women that I serve are not business coaches, right? Like it's not that demographic. And so I lost the plot. I got so focused on the right way, right? The I'm using air quotes, the right way to set things up and to operate my business and to scale and to reach more people and to increase revenue and do all of those things. Right. Obviously, my business is built to serve, but it is also a business. And I just went too far left. I went too far left. And it hasn't been feeling great on my end for a while, but I couldn't put a finger on it. I couldn't figure out what it was that was feeling off. And then, as per usual, a conversation with my sister really opened my eyes. She's making a change in her business.

And when she was telling me about it, I was having like sirens going off in my head of like, oh my God, Laura, this is it. Like, this is the structure. This is the way to provide what you have wanted to provide to moms all along. And to bring back that connection, I have been feeling for the last few months like I can't actually say out loud to women who are who are thinking of investing in the Superstar Assistant Academy. I feel like I can't say to them right now, it's self-paced, but you're never alone. Because I am feeling very disconnected from the women who have chosen me to coach them. And y'all, if you know me at all or you've been around at all, you know that that is something that I have deep gratitude for. And that I feel genuinely so honored when anybody decides to have me be their coach and to invest in my coaching to help them make this dream their reality. All that being said, I am deep in the process right now of creating an entirely new product that I can't even put into words how excited I am about it. My brain is literally overflowing with ideas and things to add and way to set it up and how to deliver from every single angle that a woman could possibly need to be successful building their own virtual assistant business.

And it is in the form of a membership. This is going to be a low monthly cost membership that I'm calling the VA Income Lab. And in this membership, y'all, it is going to house a whole new program that I am creating. And I'm not creating a new program because the Superstar Assistant Academy doesn't suffice. That program is incredible. It has helped over a thousand women create income this way and get insane results. But it's a program that I made four and a half years ago before I had coached anybody. And now I have all of these years of experience, real-world experience, not only still my own working with clients, but four years of coaching hundreds and hundreds of women through this process and picking up pieces of, oh, that's important. Let me add that in. And realizing what works well and what doesn't, and what pieces are super important. And I have to acknowledge that all of that lived experience and the knowledge that I've gained from that is so valuable and it needs a place to go, right? I need a place to put that all together cohesively into a new roadmap. And that new roadmap is going to live inside the VA Income Lab that's going to be structured as a low-cost monthly membership that you can join whenever you want. You can cancel it whenever you want. And while you're in the VA Income Lab, you're going to have access to all of this new program that I'm in the process of creating right now and a ton of other resources.

You're going to have access to coaching from me, both in form of being able to post a question and get a response. But also we've added in bi-weekly QA coaching calls. And anyone who's in the Superstar Assistant Academy knows if you have the self-based program, you have never had access to coaching calls with me. But I am feeling so called to switch to this format and really get back in touch with all of my students. I am literally giddy. I was just putting it the QA, the next three QA calls onto the calendar inside the membership. And like, I can't wait. But you're not only going to be able to be coached and learn about building an online business for me, I'm also bringing in monthly guest speakers who are experts in their own areas of the online business industry because despite what my husband might tell you, I can recognize when I'm not the expert and there is someone who knows an aspect or a corner of the industry better than I do. And I want the women who are in the VA income lab to have an incredibly well-rounded education on how to build their successful VA business. So every month there will be new speakers coming in. We already have July, August, and September speakers lined up. And I literally could not be more thrilled about them. And there's some other really cool pieces of the VA Income Lab, but I don't want to blabber about them all too long.

But it will be available to actually join and get in around mid-July. I'm not putting a set date on it quite yet.
